Linda Wilbrecht was among the first recipients of the NIMH’s BRAINS award–Biobehavioral Research Awards for Innovative New Scientists. The program is designed to fund early career scientists carrying out innovative, exploratory research aimed at critical knowledge gaps identified by NIMH.
